What Indonesian EFL Learners Perceive of Collaborative Writing: Experience in Writing Essays Online

چکیده

This study examines online collaborative writing (CW) teaching techniques via asynchronous computer-mediated communication multimodality, i.e., Google Docs. attempts to investigate what Indonesian learners perceive concerning collaboratively in Docs during learning. collected data from 20 Primary School Teacher Education (PSTE) students enrolling an English 3 (Academic Writing) class at a private university Indonesia. The findings showed that the participants perceived as good way develop their and skills. It was found feedback peers teacher considered beneficial learners’ development implementation of (OCW). Even though interaction among can be enhanced OCW, lack participation one drawbacks discovered this study. is hoped contribute significantly instructors considering benefits OCW before implementing classrooms.
